Newcastle United and Aston Villa are interested in signing Michael Amir Murillo from Marseille in the summer transfer window, according to Fútbol Centroamérica. The report has revealed that both Newcastle and Villa have more than enough money to get a deal done for the Panama international right-back.
Murillo has been on the books of Marseille since the summer of 2023 when he joined from Anderlecht. The right-back has scored one goal and given three assists in 28 matches in all competitions so far this season. In the 2023-24 campaign, the defender scored three goals and provided two assists in 25 appearances for Marseille.
Newcastle are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 62 points from 34 matches, while Villa currently find themselves seventh in the standings with 57 points from 34 games, three points behind fifth-placed Chelsea.
