Max Holloway is certainly a real BMF.

The previous UFC featherweight champion and newly minted light-weight contender launched behind-the-scenes video on Monday documenting the earlier than and after of his now-legendary UFC 300 bout towards Justin Gaethje. The footage, which printed on Holloway’s YouTube channel, reveals Holloway’s arrival to Las Vegas’ T-Cell Enviornment alongside his crew, a pleasant alternate with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg throughout warm-ups, and Holloway’s rapid response following his unbelievable knockout of Gaethje.

Regardless of being properly forward on the scorecards, Holloway referred to as Gaethje to the middle of the cage within the bout’s ultimate 10 seconds and initiated a livid alternate, finally touchdown an iconic knockout on the 4:59 mark of the third spherical to win the UFC’s ceremonial “BMF” belt.

“That final 10 seconds was for you. All week, you advised me, ‘Simply throw,’” Holloway says over the cellphone whereas sitting within the backstage medical tent instantly after the bout. “All week. I used to be hurting him, I used to be hurting, however f****** a damage lion is extra harmful. Each time I damage him, he had the craziest look in his eyes. I used to be like, ‘F*** this. I ain’t attempting nothing dumb.”

Holloway is now a prime contender in each the featherweight and light-weight division, having caught the attention of UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria. In a Monday interview with The Pat McAfee Present, Holloway in contrast preventing Gaethje to “going by means of the gates of hell.”
