Fiorentina striker Moise Kean has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but the Italian International has been urged to stay at the Serie A club.
The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Fiorentina, and he scored 25 goals last season. Naturally, he has been linked with a potential move away this summer, and Manchester United have been mentioned as a potential destination. He has been linked with Arsenal as well.
Former Fiorentina goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has claimed that Kean should continue with the Italian club for another season, and joining Manchester United might not be ideal. He pointed out that most of their new signs have done badly, although Kean is unlikely to do worse than them.
Striker warned against Man United move
He said (h/t Fiorentina News): “I hope the boy understands that Florence can still give him a lot: on more coveted stages he has in fact shown that he has failed, and Fiorentina could be ideal for him for at least another year,” he said.
“Manchester’s interest? It is true that, on a sporting level, Manchester United are not shining, but they are still one of the most important clubs in the history of football, with considerable economic power.
“Lately, anyone who has gone there has done badly and I think it will be difficult for him to do worse than already done by his predecessors.”

Man United need Moise Kean

Manchester United need a reliable striker. The Italian could prove to be an excellent addition. He has played in England before, but he never quite managed to showcase his true qualities. He is at the peak of his powers right now, and he will look to prove himself in English football if the transfer goes through.
Manchester United certainly have the finances to convince the Italian club to sell the player. It remains to be seen how the situation develops. We have previously covered reports claiming Manchester United are prepared to pay his release clause.
Furthermore, Manchester United will not be able to offer him Champions League football next season. They might not be able to challenge for major trophies either. They are going through a period of rebuilding. It remains to be seen whether the Italian is open to joining them.
