Sean O’Malley Promises KO: “Come Sunday, No One’s Gonna Care About Merab Dvalishvili ”

Following middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis’ UFC 305 submission win over former two-time titleholder Israel Adesanya, gentle heavyweight champion Alex Pereira known as out “Stillknocks.”

Pereira has a battle lined up.  “Poatan” takes on Khalil Rountree within the UFC 307 major occasion on Oct. 5 in Salt Lake Metropolis.  Regardless of the end result of the upcoming UFC 307 gentle heavyweight title battle, Pereira plans to maneuver again all the way down to the middleweight division to problem for the belt.

“Whatever the outcome, I wish to go down yet one more time to middleweight and go for the belt,” Pereira lately posted on Instagram.  “”Hey, Dricus, carry your will to battle me with the intention to show that you’re higher than me. Pereira received the 185-pound title by defeating Adesanya at UFC 281 however was knocked out by “The Final Stylebender” within the rematch at UFC 287.  Following the loss, Pereira moved as much as the sunshine heavyweight division and captured the title.  Transferring again all the way down to middleweight looks like a foul thought to former middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

“Alex Pereira, the sunshine heavyweight champion of the world, has known as out Dricus Du Plessis, the middleweight champion of the world.  Now that is wonderful.  Double-champ standing and all the remainder of it.  I do not prefer it.  Easy as that and I’ve quite a lot of very, superb the reason why,” Bisping stated on his YouTube channel.

“As I stated, he is the sunshine heavyweight champion of the world.  Being the sunshine heavyweight champion, it comes with some duty,” Bisping continued.  “In the beginning, he is received individuals to battle already.  He is combating Khalil Rountree.  You cannot look previous Killa Khalil Rountree.  He is the kickboxer killer.  He actually is.”

Pereira does have opponents within the 205-pound weight class.  If he will get previous Rountree, he has second-ranked Magomed Ankalaev ready within the wings.  Bisping has different causes he would not need Pereira to maneuver again to middleweight.

“This brings me on to the second motive I do not like this.  We wish to see nice champions, and Alex Pereira is a superb champion.  Make no mistake.  We wish to see them tackle all comers of their division,” Bisping stated.

“This brings me on to a different motive.  He is gigantic.  He is gigantic at gentle heavyweight.  He’d be an enormous heavyweight and he is ridiculous at middleweight.  How that man ever made middleweight so long as he did is simply, it is a thriller to me,” Bisping continued.  “If you lower that quantity of weight, it impacts your potential to take a shot.  That may be a reality.  Easy as that.”

“Taking place to 185 would not take advantage of sense for him.  Been there.  Performed it.  Acquired the t-shirt.  Go to heavyweight Should you really wish to grow to be a three-weight division champion.”
