Mexico nationwide crew supervisor Javier Aguirre was left with a bloodied head after being hit by a can thrown from the gang throughout their Concacaf Nations League recreation with Honduras.

The Mexico boss performed down the incident, saying it was not value speaking about.

“They [Honduras] deserved to win, they have been higher than us in areas,” stated Aguirre.

“I’ve obtained nothing left however to congratulate them, and properly, to attempt to elevate my crew’s spirit.

“The opposite factor, there’s no level in even mentioning it as a result of properly it’s soccer, I’m not one to complain.”

The Mexican soccer federation condemned the behaviour, saying in a press release that it had “no place in our sport”.

The assertion added: “We demand that Concacaf takes fast and decisive motion to deal with this matter.

“Soccer must be a celebration, not a battleground.”

Concacaf echoed the sentiment and confirmed the incident can be referred to its disciplinary committee.

“The safety of the groups and followers is a precedence for Concacaf. All these violent behaviors haven’t any place in soccer.”

Mexico can be hoping to beat the 2-0 deficit on Tuesday once they once more meet Honduras within the return leg with a spot within the Nations League semi-finals subsequent 12 months up for grabs.
