The Dallas Mavericks frontcourt depth suffered another blow on Saturday. Big man Maxi Kleber will miss an extended period of time after suffering a broken right foot during the Mavs loss on Saturday to the Boston Celtics.
Kleber was injured in the second half of the game. He limped off and did not return.
This season, Kleber has played in 33 games. He’s averaged 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19 minutes per game off the Dallas bench, Kleber was in line for increased minutes for the Mavericks, with Dereck Lively II set to miss several weeks due to a stress fracture in his right ankle.
