The Frenchman was seen making a crude gesture by grabbing his crotch during the team’s celebrations, an act that has previously resulted in disciplinary action for other players.
Meanwhile, Antonio Rudiger is at the center of the controversy for a throat-slitting gesture directed toward opposition fans—a move that has been widely condemned. Vinicius Junior, who has often been a target for opposition hostility, was involved in heated interactions with Atletico supporters before and after the final whistle. He was seen confronting sections of the home crowd and pointing at the Whites’ crest on his shirt in a manner that provoked an aggressive reaction.
