With the Champions League knockout stage getting back underway on Tuesday, we have four heavyweight contests from across Europe’s elite.

Alongside an iconic derby Madrid derby showdown from the Bernabeu, Premier League strugglers Arsenal will be seeking an early advantage when they travel to PSV.

Ahead of what is a stacked Tuesday schedule of Champions League action, we have taken a look at two of the most appealing European betting tips.

20:00 Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid

While Real Madrid might have extended on the Champions League adventure last month as they secured a thrilling 6-3 aggregate win against Manchester City, Los Blancos failed to claim some crucial momentum over the weekend. Suffering a real collapse away at Real Betis and missing out on the chance to climb to the top of the La Liga standings, Tuesday’s hosts are seeking some much-welcomed defensive stability. Eventually falling to a 2-1 defeat in Andalusia on Saturday evening, the former AC Milan boss has found some mounting pressure on his shoulders. Getting February underway with a shock 1-0 loss against relegation scrappers Espanyol, Real Madrid have registered just a pair of clean sheets from any of their last nine appearances across all competitions. Likewise, it should also be noted that Los Blancos have notched just a sole clean sheet at the Bernabeu since returning from Spain’s festive break.

Mounting a sensational last-gasp comeback away at domestic rivals Barcelona on February 25th as they eventually left Catalonia with a sensational 4-4 stalemate, Atletico Madrid are enjoying what has become a record-breaking flurry. Continuing to receive a string of plaudits from across the continent, Diego Simeone’s men find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high. In fact, Tuesday’s guests have remarkably suffered just a single defeat from any of their previous 26 appearances across all competitions. At the heart of a La Liga title scrap and with many billing Atletico as a potential European dark horse this season, Simeone’s side have also gained a fearsome reputation for their success on the road. Signing off their Champions League group stage adventure with a routine 4-1 romp against Austrian giants Salzburg, Atletico Madrid have tasted just a sole defeat on their travels since the end of October.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid Betting Tip: Both teams to score @ 19/20 with Pribet

20:00 Borussia Dortmund vs Lille

While Borussia Dortmund might have only appointed new boss Niko Kovac last month, BVB are certainly enjoying an immediate boost under the former Monaco manager. Extending on their Champions League adventure on February 19th as they clinched an eye-catching 3-0 aggregate win against Sporting Lisbon, Tuesday’s hosts have now secured consecutive victories for just a second time since returning from November’s international break. Storming their way to a stellar 6-0 romp against Union Berlin on February 22nd, BVB have also found a recent clinical edge in the final third. Signing off their group stage campaign with a 3-1 victory against Shakhtar Donetsk on January 29th, Dortmund will know the importance of claiming a first-leg advantage in rural Germany. With former Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy enjoying a history-making flurry this season and notching 10 goals in as many Champions League appearances, the 28-year-old will certainly play a leading role here.

Although Lille might have collected some heavyweight Champions League scalps during their group stage adventure, the Mastiffs have the feel of a squad seeking some recent stability. Shockingly watching their Coupe de France campaign come to an abrupt end last month at the hands of Ligue 2 outfit Dunkerque, Bruno Genesio’s side have now lost three of their previous five domestic appearances. Failing to pick up some much-welcomed momentum over the weekend as they fell to a routine 4-1 drumming away at PSG, Tuesday’s guests have also continued to show some worrying issues away from the Stade Pierre-Mauroy. Signing off January with a 2-1 defeat against Strasbourg, Lille have lost three of their last four awards fixtures across all competitions. Facing what should be another stern challenge in rural Germany, it should also be noted that Genesio’s side have recorded just a sole clean sheet from any of their last 11 consecutive matchups across all competitions.

Borussia Dortmund vs Lille Betting Tip: Serhou Guirassy to score anytime @ 32/20 with Luckster
