Manchester United want £60 million in transfer fees for Marcus Rashford in the summer transfer window, according to the Sunday Mirror (page 80). Rashford joined Premier League rivals Aston Villa on loan in the January transfer window, and Man Utd want to cash in on him for £60m at the end of the season.
Villa reportedly have an option to make Rashford’s loan deal permanent for £40 million, but it seems that if the Premier League top-four hopefuls are not willing to take it up, the Man Utd will demand £60 million from other suitors for the England international forward.
Rashford has done well for Villa so far in his loan spell. The 27-year-old has made one start and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Unai Emery’s side. The Man United-owned forward has given two assists in those games. While Villa are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season, the Red Devils may not even end up in the top four.
