Manchester United are reportedly preparing a formal offer to sign Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, as they look to steal a march on Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool in one of the summer’s hottest transfer sagas.

The 24-year-old Cameroonian forward has lit up the Premier League with 18 goals and six assists this season, catching the attention of England’s elite. With Brentford valuing him at around £60–65 million, Mbeumo is seen as a ready-made star who can make an immediate impact.

United’s Attack Set for a Shake-Up

Following another underwhelming season, United are bracing for a frontline rebuild. Jadon Sancho and Antony could be on their way out, while Marcus Rashford’s future remains uncertain. Mbeumo, with his blistering pace, clever movement, and proven goal threat, fits the bill for new manager Ruben Amorim, who is reportedly pushing for the move.

Arsenal and Liverpool Lurking in the Background

At Arsenal, Mikel Arteta wants to ease Bukayo Saka’s workload and sees Mbeumo as the perfect high-pressing, tactically sharp rotation option. Liverpool, under Arne Slot, are also keen — especially with Mohamed Salah’s long-term future in doubt and growing interest from Saudi clubs.

Wherever he lands, Bryan Mbeumo looks set for a big leap. And with Champions League football on offer elsewhere, United must move quickly if they’re serious about landing one of the Premier League’s most underrated gems.
