Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to be able to sign Jack Grealish from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. The former Aston Villa star was linked with a move to Spurs in the January transfer window, and a potential switch to the North London club this summer is not very feasible.
It has been reported that Grealish earns £300,000 at Man City and is one of the highest earners at the defending Premier League champions. The England international winger would have to take a pay-cut to join Tottenham, who cap their players’ salaries at just under £200,000-a-week.
GiveMeSport has claimed that Tottenham are targeting Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze, who is more likely to make the switch to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium than Grealish, who has won the Premier League title four times and the UEFA Champions League once wth the Citizens.
