Manchester United are closing in on the capture of the Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra.

According to Italian journalist Daniele Longo, the 22-year-old central midfielder is very close to joining Manchester United, and he will play for them next season. He has been outstanding for Valencia in La Liga, and he has the technical attributes to do well in the Premier League as well.

Guerra was linked with Arsenal recently. Meanwhile, Manchester United were keen on him when Erik ten Hag was at the club as well.

Manchester United needed a quality central midfielder like him who could dictate the tempo of the game and help out creatively. He has all the tools to develop into a complete central midfielder. Manchester United would do well to secure his signature.

Guerra scored three goals and picked up three assists this past season. He has been described as a “really great player” with a great present and future by Gaizka Mendieta.

The opportunity to join one of the biggest clubs in the world will be quite exciting for the Spanish midfielder, and he will look to prove his qualities in English football next season. Manchester United needed someone like him to dominate midfield contests. It will be interesting to see if he can form a solid partnership with Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte.

Man United need quality players

Manchester United had a disappointing season last year, and they finished in the bottom half of the league table. They will look to bounce back strongly, and they need quality players at their disposal.

Guerra would be a solid long-term acquisition for them. He has the qualities to develop into a key player for the Red Devils. If they can sign him for a reasonable amount of money, the transfer could look like a solid investment for the future.
