New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers put together quite the rookie campaign despite the team having an extremely disappointing year in 2024.
Nabers broke several franchise and NFL records as a rookie and did it all with a revolving door at the quarterback position.
During Super Bowl media week, Nabers was asked to evaluate his rookie year and clearly was not satisfied with his performance.
“I missed two games, I didn’t get 10 touchdowns,” Nabers told NBC Sports. “Me and BT (Brian Thomas), it was really a competition between, you know all of the LSU guys that got drafted. Jayden (Daniels), BT, so you know, we was always trying to be.
“We wanted to be here, especially for the Rookie of the Year but stats could have been way better. I mean, I could have done a lot of things way better in the season. So yeah, I grade it as a C. I know my potential.”
Depending on what the Giants do at quarterback this offseason, Nabers could easily improve in his sophomore campaign. The sky is the limit for the sixth-overall pick.
