Looking Back at His 3 Most Memorable Wins

How to watch Jake Paul vs JCCJr, Wilder: Boxing schedule for June 25-28

Though Jake Paul’s boxing career is still relatively young, he’s already authored a few memorable victories that have fueled his rise from YouTube stardom to mainstream prizefighting.

Jake Paul: Three Most Memorable Wins

1. UD vs. Mike Tyson – November 2024

The most-watched boxing event on Netflix saw Paul go the distance with “Iron” Mike in a controversial, spectacle-driven bout. The event drew 65 million concurrent viewers and a live attendance of just over 72,000 fans at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX,  becoming one of the most streamed and attended boxing events in history. Though the former undisputed heavyweight champ Tyson was 58 and clearly faded, Paul stayed composed, worked behind the jab, and earned a clear unanimous decision win. Thus, marking it his biggest win in name recognition and global attention.

2. KO vs. Tyron Woodley – December 2021

In a rematch of their first fight, which ended in a Paul decision win in Cleveland, OH, in August of 2021, Paul scored a booming one-punch KO of the former UFC champ Woodley leaving no doubt in this one. Paul had originally intended to fight England’s Tommy Fury- the half-brother of former two-time heavyweight champ Tyson Fury. However, Fury had visa problems and couldn’t enter the United States.

Instead, the second fight with Woodley happened in Tampa, FL, and after five competitive rounds, Paul finally starched Woodley with a right cross on the chin and Woodley fell face first, unconscious in mid-air to the canvas. It’s the signature KO to this point for Paul, who was now fighting noteworthy champs in MMA, and not just “celebrity boxers” for publicity.

3. UD vs. Anderson Silva – October 2022

After the Woodley win, Paul took to the ring against former UFC legendary champ Anderson Silva. Paul delivered one of his most legitimate boxing performances in this battle in Glendale, AZ. He used ring generalship, effective jabs, and timely right hands to clearly outbox and outpoint Silva, who definitely had name recognition from fight fans. The Silva win gave Paul credibility beyond social media buzz and showed he could compete with combat sports legends.

Jake Paul’s wins might lack the depth of seasoned pros, but they’re high in spectacle, attention, and progress. Each fight moves him closer to being taken seriously. His fights against celebrity boxers appear a thing of the past, but will we see Paul continue to increase the quality of opposition?
