Liverpool are interested in signing Liam Delap from Ipswich Town in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The Premier League leaders are looking for a new striker in case Darwin Nunez leaves Anfield, and they believe that Delap would be a good fit for Arne Slot’s team.
Delap joined Ipswich from Manchester City in the summer of 2024. The 22-year-old striker has scored 10 goals and made two assists in 26 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Tractor Boys so far this season.
Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 70 points from 29 matches, 15 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal, who have played 28 games. Meanwhile, Ipswich currently find themselves third from bottom in the league standings with 17 points from 28 games, six points behind 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers.
