Liverpool have identified Ola Aina as a potential replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. England international right-back Alexander-Arnold is set to leave the Reds at the end of the season when his current contract runs out and join Madrid as a free agent, and Arne Slot’s side believe that Nottingham Forest ace Aina would be a suitable replacement.
However, Liverpool are not the only club who are keen on a deal for Aina, who has scored two goals and given one assist in 32 appearances for Forest so far this season. The 28-year-old Nigeria international is the subject of interest from Chelsea, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur as well.
Liverpool are on the verge of winning the Premier League title, with the Reds 13 points clear of second-placed Arsenal at the top of the table with just five more rounds of matches left this season. Meanwhile, Forest currently find themselves fourth in the standings with 60 points from 33 games.
