Liverpool are interested in signing Levi Colwill from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The report has claimed that the Merseyside club have touched base with the London club as well as with the centre-back’s camp to assess his situation.
Chelsea have previously valued Colwill at £40million, but the Blues do not want to sell him this summer. The 22-year-old has scored one goal and given one assist in 27 Premier League games for the London club so far this season, with Enzo Maresca’s side aiming to finish in the top four and qualify for the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League campaign.
With Virgil van Dijk out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season and yet to sign a new deal, the Reds are in need of a new centre-back this summer. There is also speculation that Ibrahima Konate could leave at the end of the season, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain interested in him.
