Professional Fighters League (PFL) is set to kick off its 2025 World Tournament TONIGHT (Thurs., April 3, 2025) on the back lot of Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Fla., airing live on ESPN and ESPN+ in the United States.
The single elimination-style format will have eight fighters in eight different weight classes all vying for the $500,000 bonus each division winner gets. Headlining the first event of the tournament will be a Welterweight showdown as former Bellator MMA 170-pound champion, Jason Jackson, takes on Andrey Koreshkov, who at one time held the Welterweight title for Bellator, too.
In the other first round 170-pound scrap, Logan Storley now faces tournament alternate, Joseph Luciano, because Magomed Umalatov missed weight. PFL 1’s main card also features the Featherweights: Jesus Pinedo battles Adam Borics, while Jeremy Kennedy takes on Movlid Khaybulaev.
That’s not all.
Many readers check in before, during and after the fights to share their thoughts on all of the action, with “Prelims” set to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET streaming on ESPN+. Feel free to leave a comment (or several) about the bouts and chat with all the other Maniacs during the show — it’s always a lot of fun!
