LeBron James could be out for “a matter of weeks, not a matter of days” after suffering a groin strain on Saturday night against the Boston Celtics, sources told Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
Sources added that it is still too early to project how long James will miss until he undergoes imaging.
James said after the game that there was “not much concern” and he would “go day to day” in treating the injury.
James also said that the current injury was not as bad as the torn groin he suffered on Christmas Day 2018.
“No, it’s not as bad as that. It’s not as bad as that,” added James.
