The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to sign Lamar Stevens to a 10-day contract. In a related move, the Grizzlies are waiving Johnny Davis. Davis is expected to receive some level of interest as a free agent.
Stevens appeared in 38 games last season combined with the Boston Celtics and Memphis Grizzlies. In 19 games with the Grizzlies, Stevens averaged 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 23.0 minutes.
In 29 G League games this season with the Motor City Cruise, Stevens is averaging 17.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 34.1 minutes.
