In a night of high drama, Kenshiro Teraji cemented his place among boxing’s elite by capturing the WBA light flyweight world title with a stunning 12th-round TKO over Seigo Yuri Akui. The battle, held at the legendary Ryogoku Kokugikan Arena, kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final bell.
Trailing on two of the three scorecards heading into the final round, Teraji unleashed a ferocious barrage that forced the referee to step in at 1:31 of the 12th round.
