Juventus are aware of Manchester United’s interest in signing their wonderkid Kenan Yildiz.
In what has been a frustrating season in Turin, Yildiz has emerged as a rare positive for Juve.
The 19-year-old has established himself as a key player at the club, having scored six goals and registered four assists in all competitions this term.
The Turkey international primarily plays as a left-winger but he also earned plaudits for his performances on the opposite flank and through the middle under now sacked manager Thiago Motta.
The ex-Bayern Munich star only signed a new contract until 2029 with the Old Lady last August but his long-term future at the club remains uncertain.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (Football Italia), super agent Jorge Mendes, who acts as an advisor to the player’s family, has already informed Juventus about United’s interest in their sensational talent.
Juventus are also well aware of Chelsea and Liverpool’s interest heading into the summer transfer window.
It is suggested that Juve may need to make a major sale before the end of the financial year on June 30 due to financial fair play concerns.
However, it is not going to be easy for Yildiz’s suitors to secure his services as the Serie A giants will not consider offers below €80 million for their prized asset.
United’s attack have appeared toothless under Ruben Amorim, who could do with a new forward before entering his first full season in charge of the Red Devils.
A young talent like Yildiz is certainly appealing but he appears to be a luxury that United don’t desperately need, and can’t afford.
Instead, the Mancunians are more likely to spend their limited budget on an out-and-out goalscorer.
