Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal first fought at UFC 244 in November 2019 within the inaugural “BMF” symbolic title battle.  The battle was halted by the physician after the third spherical as a consequence of nasty cuts above and beneath Diaz’ proper eye.   

The rematch will happen contained in the boxing ring on June 1 at The Discussion board in Inglewood, California.  Masvidal made the announcement on Wednesday through social media.  

“It’s official and it’s occurring!! Deadman strolling @NateDiaz209 June 1 – early pricing on sale NOW,” Masvidal posted on Instagram together with a promo for the battle.

Diaz additionally confirmed the matchup on his social media.  “It is Official,” he wrote on Instagram.  

“Nate’s a useless man strolling,” Masvidal stated in a press release. “I am unable to wait to show that final time was no fluke. He obtained saved by the referee. Now we’re boxing, which he says is his forte, however he is obtained no shot at beating me. I am not going to offer him an inch in that ring to even breathe. If he thought our MMA match was unhealthy, that is going to be a lot worse. I will drown him. 

“I wish to put away any speak that him and I are the identical, or that the referee saved the day. All of that speak ends June 1. Violence and throwing arms are in each of our bloods however as I proved earlier than, I am a far superior athlete and I am a meaner fighter. When June 1 comes I will put all unanswered inquiries to relaxation, reside for the world to see.”
