Jiri Lehecka has parted with coach Tomas Berdych after 18 months. The 22-year-old Czech introduced the information on social media on Monday.

Lehecka began with countryman Berdych at Monte-Carlo final 12 months, with the previous No. 4 within the PIF ATP Rankings serving to information Lehecka to his maiden tour-level title in Adelaide in January.

We’ll proceed to work with Tomas throughout the Davis Cup crew. I want him a lot success and lots of victories in his new function because the Davis Cup crew captain.

“My crew in any other case stays the identical, with coach Michal Navratil, health coach Radek Stepanek, and physiotherapist Carlos Manuel Baptista Carvalho. The final supervisor of the crew is Roman Vik and the agent is Pierre Christen.”

Berdych was introduced on Sunday as the brand new Davis Cup captain for Czechia.

Lehecka was sidelined from April till August this 12 months because of a stress fracture in his vertebra however returned to achieve the third spherical in Cincinnati and on the US Open.
