Gang Green is hiring Scott Turner as their pass game coordinator, The Post’s Mark Cannizzaro confirmed through a league source.

The 42-year-old Turner, the son of longtime NFL head coach Norv Turner, has spent 14 seasons in the NFL. He was the offensive coordinator in Washington from 2020-22 and spent last season as the Raiders’ interim offensive coordinator, giving him play-calling experience.

That experience could be an important resource for first-time offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand, whom Glenn brought over from the Lions’ staff. Engstrand has not handled play-caller responsibilities yet in the NFL.

Turner joins Engstrand, quarterbacks coach Charles London, receivers coach Shawn Jefferson and offensive line coach Steve Heiden on the offensive side of the ball.

Glenn has also brought in defensive coordinator Steve Wilks and special teams coordinator Chris Banjo.

The offensive coaches Glenn surrounds himself with are of the utmost importance given that his expertise is on the other side of the ball, including four seasons as the Lions defensive coordinator and as a three-time Pro Bowl corner in the league.

The offensive staff will likely either be tasked with making it work with a 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers, another bridge veteran QB or developing the team’s franchise quarterback of the future.

The Jets are trying to jump-start their franchise under Glenn and new general manager Darren Mougey after a disastrous 5-12 season that began with Super Bowl hopes.
