The Jets could see a familiar face in Aaron Glenn’s first game as the team’s coach.

They open the season at home against the Steelers on Sept. 7 at 1 p.m., according to a source.

The biggest question is who will be playing quarterback for Pittsburgh. Former Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been expected to sign with the Steelers for months but it has not happened. Rodgers’ presence would add intrigue to the matchup.

It could be a game featuring two quarterbacks going up against their former teams. New Jets quarterback Justin Fields spent last season with the Steelers, starting the first six games before being benched in favor of Russell Wilson.

Following the opener against the Steelers, the Jets play the Bills at home in Week 2 before going on the road for back-to-back Florida games against the Buccaneers and then the Dolphins on “Monday Night Football.”

The Jets have two prime-time games this season, according to a source.

The Jets will take on former coach Todd Bowles and the Buccaneers on Sept. 21. AP

That is a departure from last year when the Rodgers-led team had six prime-time games when the schedule was released (one was later flexed out of primetime).

The NFL announced Tuesday that the Jets would play the Broncos in London in Week 6.
