Jannik Sinner can be very satisfied with how he started the new season, having confirmed that he is the best player in the world and has no opponents on the hard courts. The world number 1 won the 2025 Australian Open without ever giving the feeling of being in difficulty, except for the small discomfort he suffered during his match against Rune in the round of sixteen.

The Italian ace won the third Grand Slam title of his young career and sent a clear message to all his rivals for the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old from Sesto Pusteria will try to achieve even better results than in 2024, when he impressed everyone by suffering just six defeats.

According to some insiders, Jannik has the right skills and mental strength to become the first player to achieve the ‘Calendar Grand Slam’ since Rod Laver. His main obstacle will be Roland Garros, where he reached the semifinals in 2024 losing to Carlitos Alcaraz only in the fifth set.

The young Spaniard is the player who has the most weapons to put him in difficulty, but he does not have the same consistency as Sinner during the season and his drops are still too frequent.

Sinner opens two channels

In recent months, the world number 1 has shown his willingness to show a different side of himself to fans. The 3-time Grand Slam champion always looks very serious on the tennis court and does not let his emotions show, which is why some people have accused him of being too boring.

Recently, the Italian ace decided to inaugurate his new channel on YouTube in which he posted a vlog related to his second triumph in a row at Melbourne Park.

At the same time, the Australian Open champion has also opened a channel on TikTok wanting to better take care of his image to become even more popular.

A few days ago, Sinner was harshly criticized in Italy because of his choice not to go to Rome to meet President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.
