Jake Paul is open to fighting his brother Logan Paul: ‘I wouldn’t have to be the one that dealt with losing’

Jake Paul is open to settling his sibling rivalry with brother Logan Paul.

For years now, fans have speculated about a potential boxing match between the two brothers as both continued to draw headlines in the squared circle; however, for most of that time the Pauls have been staunchly against facing one another. Well, their tunes may be changing.

Speaking with the All The Smoke Fight Show on Tuesday, Jake revealed that at one point his brother Logan was inconsideration as his opponent for the Netflix boxing debut instead of Mike Tyson.

“I’m OK with fighting my brother because I wouldn’t have to be the one that dealt with losing,” Paul said. “Seriously. Emotionally, if that would scar him, then he shouldn’t do it. But if he’s going to sign up, I don’t have to be the one to lose.”

Of course that isn’t what ended up happening as Paul instead took on the former heavyweight champion in one of the most viewed events of 2024. But that doesn’t mean it can’t happen in the future, with the younger Paul even admitting that getting some revenge on his older brother is also an enticing proposition.

“Which also plays into it a little bit,” Paul said, laughing when asked about getting beaten up by his brother growing up.

And as if on cue, the Paul brothers further added fuel to this speculative fire on Tuesday when both teased a special event for March 27 on MAX, with a poster showing the two facing off.

A formal announcement about the event is expected this week but sources told MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin that no fight was confirmed with the tease from the Paul brothers and it’s unlikely that’s an accident.
