Manchester United’s new part-owner, INEOS, has ended Sir Alex Ferguson’s long-standing ambassadorial function as a part of its ongoing efforts to scale back prices on the membership.

Sir Alex, essentially the most profitable supervisor in United’s historical past, has been serving as a worldwide membership ambassador since retiring in 2013.
