Indiana is among the many high 15 groups nationally for the 2024-25 season, in keeping with longtime school basketball reporter Andy Katz.
After a big switch portal haul and the retention of a number of key gamers, the Hoosiers are No. 12 in Katz’s newest Energy 36 for the 2024-25 season, printed Thursday.
The Hoosiers are the second-highest-rated Huge Ten group in Katz’s rankings.
“The Hoosiers may find yourself being the Huge Ten champs with a roster that returns Mackenzie Mgbako, Malik Reneau, Trey Galloway and a portal haul of Oumar Ballo, Myles Rice, Kanaan Carlyle and Luke Goode,” Katz wrote.
Purdue leads the pack amongst Huge Ten groups at No. 10 in Katz’s rankings. Different Huge Ten groups within the Energy 36 embody Ohio State (14), UCLA (18), Rutgers (19), Illinois (27), Oregon (29) and Michigan State (30).
The Hoosiers are at the moment No. 23 within the newest projections for subsequent season from Bart Torvik.
The highest 5 groups within the Katz Energy 36 are Alabama, Kansas, Gonzaga, Houston, and UConn.
