Indiana picked to complete 2nd within the Massive Ten in “official unofficial” media ballot – Contained in the Corridor

Massive Ten media day for males’s basketball takes place Thursday in Chicago and the annual “official unofficial” Massive Ten preseason media ballot was launched in the present day.

The unofficial ballot surveyed 33 writers from across the convention to get their predicted order of end for the league, which is now 18 groups.

The panel can be requested to pick out a preseason participant of the 12 months, preseason all-league first and second groups, preseason freshman and preseason switch of the 12 months.

The ballot is organized by Adam Jardy of The Columbus Dispatch and Zach Osterman of The Indianapolis Star. The Massive Ten now not conducts a full preseason media ballot for males’s basketball.

Purdue’s Braden Smith was voted Massive Ten preseason participant of the 12 months, receiving a complete of 27 of the out there 33 votes. Indiana’s Oumar Ballo and Ace Bailey of Rutgers additionally obtained two votes every. The opposite votes have been for Kobe Johnson of UCLA and Iowa’s Payton Sandfort.
