Saraya, otherwise known as Paige, has built a legacy over the years in professional wrestling. She comes from a wrestling family, with her mother being well-known in the business. With so much experience, Saraya has a deep appreciation for the things that matter.
She recently released her book, “Hell in Boots: Clawing My Way Through Nine Lives,” where Saraya shared many of the tough experiences she faced in wrestling.
Currently, Saraya is on a hiatus from AEW and last wrestled on AEW TV in October 2024. While it’s unclear if Saraya will return to AEW TV soon, rumors are heating up about her contract expiring in September. Could a WWE reunion be around the corner?
Saraya Would Be Open To Returning to WWE
While Saraya found some success in AEW — becoming AEW Women’s Champion and leading a short-lived stable — she hasn’t been as central to AEW as she was during her time in WWE. With that in mind, fans are now wondering if she could return to WWE when her contract runs out.
Speaking on the “Hall of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore” podcast, Saraya looked back on her WWE run and spoke highly of the company, saying she’d be open to going back.
“Yeah, so I love WWE and I don’t have any negative feelings towards them. I mean they raised me, they saved me a lot. I just appreciate them so much, and the idea of going somewhere else was only because of the potential of my brother being there. That was like a big thing; I just wanted him to be a success in wrestling, you know?”
“I love WWE, and I would absolutely — if there was something that they needed from me which was exciting, I would definitely go there. Yeah, absolutely, it would be silly not to. If there’s an opportunity to do something fun, hell yeah, I’ll jump on board.”
Would Saraya Fit in the New WWE Era?
When Saraya left WWE, it felt like she had done everything there was to do in the company. But if she came back now, WWE would look a lot different than it did more than three years ago.
NXT has a wave of new talent, while the RAW and SmackDown’s women’s divisions are stacked. Could a return to WWE give Saraya the chance to end her career on a high note?
