The group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is nearing its conclusion, with several key results already in. Group C’s final standings were temporarily put on hold after the Boca Juniors vs. Auckland City match was delayed, leaving fans eager to see how the standings would ultimately shake out.

The match between Boca Juniors and Auckland City was halted in the 55th minute due to severe weather conditions. However, by the time play resumed, both teams’ fates in the tournament had already been sealed.

On Matchday 3, Benfica pulled off a shocking 1-0 win over group favorites Bayern Munich, with Andreas Schjelderup scoring the lone goal in the 13th minute. The upset allowed the Portuguese side to finish atop the group, pushing Bayern into second place.

Group C wrapped up with Benfica leading with 7 points, followed by Bayern Munich with 6. With the game concluded, Boca Juniors finishes third with 2 points, unable to secure a win against Auckland City, who closed out their Club World Cup campaign with 1 point.
