Current IBF Super Lightweight titleholder, Richardson Hitchins, will defend his belt against George Kambosos Jr. tomorrow night (Sat., June 14, 2025) inside Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater in New York City on DAZN.
The two men have been at each other’s throats all week, and tensions reached a boiling point during the recent pre-fight press conference which saw both camps get involved in one scuffle after another, prompting Eddie Hearn to cancel their staredown. That wasn’t the case today during the weigh ins, as the two pugilists made weight and came face-to-face ahead of their big showdown.
Cesar Diaz was set to face Pablo Valdez on the undercard but was not able to make the fight at the last-minute for undisclosed reasons. Valdez did weigh in successfully, and now Matchroom Boxing promoters are attempting to lock down a last-second replacement.
