Someone who is more than qualified to speak on the Jimmy Butler situation is Tim Hardaway.

He contributed significantly to both the Golden State and Miami franchises and launched a scathing attack on Butler following his successful trade to the Warriors.

“I didn’t agree with what he was doing. You’re under contract. You’re a baby, you’re a crybaby because they said no to you,” Hardaway said, via Sirius XM NBA Radio. “We used to get no said to us all the time, and we used to know how to take it. It is what it is. It’s a question, you get a yes or a no. You might not like the question, but you can’t deviate and mess up the team.”

However, it doesn’t seem as though Jimmy is paying any mind.

“I’m so happy over there,” Butler said on Virgin Radio 104.4.“Organization is top-notch. Obviously, I get to play with Steph. I’m a fan of him, just like 99.9 percent of the world. And the chance of winning a championship? What more could you ask for?”

He added, “When I get the trophy and my ring, I’ll be back here.”

Jimmy also went on to explain how much respect he has for Draymond Green.

“And Draymond’s on the team,” Butler said. “Me and Draymond get along quite well, play a lot of dominoes. He’s the best and you don’t realize how great he is until you actually get on his team and how smart and how he’ll do anything to win, and I respect that the most out of anything. It’s all about winning all the time with that dude, and I’m learning.”

Despite the pair both having big personalities, they seem to be jelling far better than some people expected.

Vibes are high!
