Manchester United Women had numerous players in international action last night in the Nations League.

Grace Clinton played 60 minutes of England’s shock 2-3 defeat to Belgium.

She had 41 touches and made 100% of her 30 passes. The young midfielder also made 100% of her dribble attempts and completed one key pass in the match.

The United midfielder was also competitive in the middle of the park as she won four out of her contested eight ground duels.

Ella Toone started on the bench but played the final 30 minutes of action. She completed 85% of her passing attempts and had two shots off target as she tried to get her side a crucial equaliser.

The United star completed her only dribble attempt and won four out of five of her ground duels but she could not turn the match in her side’s favour.

Aoife Mannion played the entire match for the Republic of Ireland as they beat Greece for the second time in a matter of days with a 2-1 home win.

The veteran defender made two interceptions and one tackle in the match as she helped her side hold out for another crucial win.

She won three of her five ground duels but lost her only aerial battle. The Irish international was also strong on the ball, completing 91% of her passes and also completing both her dribble attempts.

United youngster, Anna Sandberg, played 78 minutes of Sweden’s 1-1 draw with Wales. She made one clearance and one tackle in the match.

The fullback was also strong in the air winning three out of four aerial duels but had less luck in ground battles, winning just two out of six.

Sandberg also struggled in attack as she could only keep the ball 69% of the time and lost the ball on 17 different occasions.

Two of United’s key attackers were in action as France beat Norway 2-0 away from home. Melvine Malard started for the French and completed 67 minutes of the game. She completed 78% of her passes and put the Norwegians under pressure, having three shots on goal.

She was good on the ball, completing two of her three dribble attempts and worked hard off it, winning five ground duels and three aerial battles.

Her United teammate Elisabeth Terland was less effective for Norway, having only one shot on goal and completing 75% of her passes.

Nonetheless, the United striker battled hard for her nation, winning eight ground duels and all three of her attempted aerial contests.

Dominique Janssen came off the bench to play the second half of the Netherlands’ 3-1 away win against Austria, making one clearance and one interception. She was quiet on the ball, having only 20 touches and completing 14 passes.
