Chelsea have signed goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal for a reported £20.7million (€24.5m).
Jorgensen made 36 LaLiga appearances for Villarreal final season.
The 22-year-old made 143 saves, probably the most in Spain’s prime flight, preserving six clear sheets and conceding 63 targets in whole, registering a save proportion of 69.42.
These performances have persuaded the Blues to usher in the Dane to compete with Robert Sanchez and Djorde Petrovic, although there are stories the latter could possibly be moved on.
“This transfer is a dream come true,” mentioned Jorgensen, who has penned a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
“I’m very excited to have signed for Chelsea, one of many greatest golf equipment on the earth. I can’t wait to get to know everybody and to start out enjoying with all my new team-mates.”
