The New York Giants had been awarded cornerback Christian Holmes off waivers on Monday. To make room on the roster, they waived/injured working again Jashaun Corbin.
Holmes, 26, was a seventh-round decide of the Washington Commanders within the 2022 NFL draft out of Oklahoma State. He started his faculty profession at Missouri and transferred to OSU in 2019.
Holmes has appeared in 30 video games over the previous two seasons for Washington with two begins. He amassed 20 complete tackles and recovered two fumbles.
Corbin appeared in six video games for the Giants in 2023 after being signed as a UDFA out of Florida State two summers in the past.
