Sporting Lisbon youngster Geovany Quenda is ready to sign for Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. Man Utd have been in contact with Quenda for months, and the Premier League club’s plan has always been to bring him to Old Trafford this summer after he has turned 18 in April.
It has been reported that Quenda wants to work with Ruben Amorim again. It was Amorim who gave the 17-year-old his debut at Sporting, and now that he is in charge of Man Utd right now, the chance to move to Old Trafford is very appealing to the Portugal Under-21 international.
Quenda is widely considered as one of the best young players in Europe and is a right winger/right wing-back by trade. The Portuguese youngster is able to operate on the left flank. Sporting CP are at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table at the moment with 53 points from 23 matches, level on points with second-placed Benfica.
