Fulham are interested in signing Kyle Walker-Peters on a free transfer when his contract with Southampton expires at the end of the season, according to Sky Sports. They intend to open talks with the representatives of the 28-year-old after the final round of the Premier League campaign, but they are aware of interest in his services from other clubs as well.
Walker-Peters arrived at St. Mary’s from Tottenham Hotspur on an initial six-month loan in January 2020, and the deal was made permanent the following summer for a reported fee of around £11million. In all competitions, the right-back has made a total of 201 appearances for Southampton, scoring seven goals and producing 11 assists. With Southampton sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table and long-confirmed for relegation, he is obviously keen to continue his career at another club.
Walker-Peters has managed to appear twice for England so far, though only in international friendlies.
