Former world champion Sunny Edwards and 2020 OLympic gold medalist Galal Yafai confronted off on the kickoff press convention forward of their all-British flyweight conflict on November 30 at BP Pulse LIVE in Birmingham, England, proven reside worldwide on DAZN.

Sunny Edwards: “I’ll be actual, I actually like Galal. We’ve spent a variety of time sparring, we’ve hung out on Group GB collectively, and even when he’s your rival as a result of he’s getting picked for stuff over you, it’s not likely about that. I’ve had a great relationship with Kal, Gamal stated a number of issues on social media whether or not he’s attempting to get in my head or promote the battle, or simply let me know that he doesn’t like me, it doesn’t actually matter to me, the battle is between me and Galal, we’re representing the Edwards title and the Yafai title.”

Galal Yafai: “Do you suppose I’m going to permit Sunny to return to Birmingham and simply run rings round me? And do you suppose he’s simply going to let me stress him and beat him up? It’s not going to occur, we’re each going to do what we will to win…belief me, I don’t need to Sunny, and he doesn’t need to lose to me.”

The “Japanese Hurricane Carter” is vindicated
