Aston Martin has confirmed that Felipe Drugovich will stay the workforce’s check & reserve driver for 2025.

The Brazilian has been an integral a part of the workforce since 2022, contributing each on and off the observe. Most notably, he has participated in 5 FP1 periods and three end-of-season checks, in addition to standing in for an injured Lance Stroll throughout Bahrain’s 2023 pre-season testing.

Alternating with fellow check & reserve driver, Stoffel Vandoorne, Drugovich will proceed to be current at Grands Prix all through the upcoming season.

“I am clearly actually happy to be staying with Aston Martin for a 3rd full season,” stated Drugovich. “There’s quite a lot of momentum at this workforce, and I am excited to see what we are able to obtain collectively.

“The unimaginable new services on the AMRTC, together with the brand-new simulator, display the ambition, and I am dedicated to being part of the long-term success. As all the time, I need to thank the workforce for his or her ongoing assist.”

“His contributions behind the scenes, notably within the simulator and through check periods, have been invaluable, and he doesn’t put a foot mistaken behind the wheel. Felipe’s dedication and suggestions have performed an important position in our progress, and we’re assured he’ll proceed to make a big impression as a part of our workforce.

“We want him one of the best of luck on the upcoming 24 Hours of Daytona.”
