Considerations have arisen across the availability of wing Duhan van der Merwe for Scotland’s 2025 Six Nations opener in opposition to Italy, with one other SA-born star dominated out altogether.

Scotland kick off their Six Nations marketing campaign in opposition to Italy in Edinburgh on 1 February.
