The Los Angeles Dodgers are in Texas for a three-game series against the Rangers, hoping to continue their success coming off a three-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies.
The Dodgers will be without superstar leadoff hitter Shohei Ohtani, though, as he stayed back in Los Angeles anticipating the birth of his first child.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto is taking the mound for the Dodgers, looking to build off his strong start to the season. Yamamoto enters Friday’s game with a 1.23 ERA across four starts, with 28 strikeouts and seven walks.
