The Los Angeles Dodgers have traded left-handed pitcher T.J. McFarland to the Oakland Athletics for money issues. The workforce made the announcement on Tuesday.
McFarland, 34, joined the Dodgers on a minor league deal this offseason and spent spring coaching with the membership.
McFarland had a robust spring, sporting a 1.35 ERA in 6.2 innings with Los Angeles.
He wasn’t going to make the Dodgers’ Opening Day roster, so that they shipped him off to Oakland for money.
McFarland started his MLB profession again in 2013 with the Baltimore Orioles. He spent 4 seasons with Baltimore, earlier than spending the subsequent three with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He then bounced round between the Oakland Athletics, St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets.
McFarland has a profession 4.14 ERA in 354 appearances. He’s getting into his twelfth season in Main League Baseball.
