Liverpool forward Diogo Jota could leave for a club in the Saudi Pro League, according to Football Insider. Jota reportedly does not fit into Liverpool manager Arne Slot’s plans, and with the Saudi Arabian clubs interested in the Portugal international forward, there is a growing possibility that he could end up in the Saudi league.
Jota has been on the books of Liverpool since 2020 when he joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers. The 28-year-old forward has since scored 64 goals and given 21 assists in 168 matches in all competitions for the Merseyside club.
Liverpool are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 60 points from 25 matches, seven points ahead of second-placed Arsenal. The Reds will take on Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park in the Premier League on Wednesday evening before facing Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the league on Sunday.
