Derrick White has damaged his silence concerning the struggle he was concerned in at a CU-CSU sport final week.
A video went viral on social media that confirmed White getting concerned in a struggle with followers final Saturday at a university soccer rivalry sport between Colorado and Colorado State.
The footage reveals a fan swinging his arm at White and knocking the hat off his head, then an enormous melee ensued after that.
On Tuesday at Celtics media day, White was requested about this incident and appeared to downplay what went down.
“Clearly, the Colorado scenario is unlucky,” White informed reporters. “I by no means thought I’d be in that scenario, actually. I didn’t truly get hit. He simply hit my hat off. However I shouldn’t have been there, and it’s unlucky. Simply shifting on.”
Opposite to what White says, witnesses declare he certainly acquired hit.
It was unclear to many what sparked the incident, however TMZ Sports activities say that it began when White acquired into “a little bit of a verbal spat with some Rams followers”.
“Within the third quarter—because it grew to become clear White’s Buffs have been doubtless going to win—the obvious arguing turned violent … as you may see in our video, a person in a CSU hat and a Utah shirt swung his arm into the aspect of White’s head,” TMZ report.
