Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez is absent from Monday’s lineup because he is the latest player to be battling a stomach bug, according to manager Dave Roberts. However, there is a chance he could be available off the bench.

Andy Pages will play in right field for the series opener against the Colorado Rockies.
Hernandez is hitting .281 with five home runs, 16 runs batted in, and a .871 OPS. He has been one of the Dodgers’ best hitters to open the season.
The defending champions have dropped three of their last series to the Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Nationals, and Chicago Cubs. Ahead of Monday’s game, the Dodgers are 11-6 and rank third in the NL West, behind the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants.
The Dodgers suffered their worst home loss in franchise history to the Cubs Saturday night, but manager Dave Roberts doesn’t think it’s time to panic just yet.
“I do think it’s too early to panic,” Roberts said after the Dodgers’ 16-0 loss. “We still got a good ball club. Yesterday was ugly. Certainly never want Miggy Ro to throw two innings of a baseball game. We’re going to be just fine. I still expect to win the division. I still expect to win the World Series. So I appreciate the passion, the concern from our fans, but we’re going to be fine, and we’re working hard every day.”
