Darren Until has his first boxing match within the books – and it was a bizarre one.

The boxing match was an exhibition and ended after Until landed a punch to the again of the top on opponent Mohammad Mutie. After the battle was waved off, a brawl ensued as Mutie charged Until. Cornermen and promotion officers did their finest to calm the chaos as punches flew.

Until was ultimately named the winner.

“1st one achieved,” Until wrote in an Instagram story after the battle. “Thanks for the help. Not the ending we needed however some individuals aren’t actual fighters. Subsequent battle 4-8 weeks…”

The competitors marked Until’s first since he requested (and acquired) his UFC launch in early 2023. Whereas Until’s long-term street map is unclear, it appears boxing will proceed to be his pursuit for now.

In an Instagram submit, Until turned his focus to a possible battle vs. Nate Diaz, who defeated Jorge Masvidal by 10-round majority determination Saturday in Anaheim, Calif.

“Simply considering… Want an actual boxing battle…,” Until wrote.

Diaz’s subsequent transfer can be unclear, although he too expressed curiosity in remaining in boxing in the meanwhile. Diaz named Jake Paul as a possible subsequent opponent, however mentioned he’s protecting his choices open. Diaz is 1-1 in boxing, with a loss to Paul in 2023.
