The UFC at the White House may be the most ambitious move in the sport’s history, but Dana White has promised fans that they can expect the best event he’s capable of producing.
While it took some time for the world to warm to the thought of mixed martial arts, it is now bigger than anybody could have imagined. Not only has it created several iconic household names throughout the years, but if all goes to plan for 2026, it will be doing something no other sport has ever done before.
Confirmed by Donald Trump earlier this month, the White House will host a live UFC event sometime next year. Though details are scarce, some legendary fighters have been rumored to be on the card, which could result in the pay-per-view being one of the greatest ever on paper.
While it is all just rumors at this time, Dana White has shared a few more details with what fans should expect.
“We have already done all the logistics,” White confirmed. “My team went out there and walked it.”
“We’re putting together the renderings, they should be done in the next 10 days, and then we’re going to fly out to the White House and present it to [the president].”
“We’ll see what he likes and what he doesn’t like, then start working on it.”

White then gave fans something to get excited about, insisting it will be the single best fight card the UFC has ever showcased.
“This is a ‘Sphere’, one-of-one, unique event, that will never happen again. I will blow the doors off this thing.”
“I’ll make this one of the greatest events of all time… It’ll be a full card and it will be the best card we’ve ever done to date… I don’t care if five people show up to this thing, I want to be on the lawn at the White House.”
